We are a small, friendly and active camera club based in Dunoon, Argyll. Founded in 1949 the club is a rarity in Scotland as it is one of only two to have the benefit of owning its own premises.
Are you interested in Photography or Digital Imaging?
Maybe you would like to improve your knowledge or photographic technique.
On Monday nights (7.30 pm) between September and April we have a packed syllabus of interesting presentations by a number of highly experienced photographers. Members are on hand afterwards and are always happy to help with any enquiries over refreshment following the evening's event.
On most Wednesday nights (7.30 pm) the club hold practical evenings. This is when members and visitors can really get down to the business of learning anything from the basics of operating your own specific camera through to advanced post production techniques to lift an ordinary image into something altogether more impressive.
Membership is just £45 per year for adults and £22.50 per year for juniors.
Cowal Camera Club is a registered charity (SC034945), is an active member of the Cowal community and welcomes donations that enable us to continue our community support and maintain our historic premises.
